Who is man that thou art mindful of him?
Knowledge…FREE WILL was born….not willingly, but by reason of him who subjected the same in hope.’ Romans 8:20
Genesis 1: 26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: Not until after the ‘fall’ was God’s man finished…equipped to choose dominion over the earth through choosing that dominion in Christ…free will. Not until after the fall was it said of Adam and Eve.“ Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil:‘ To have a clear choice of ‘whom to serve’ man would have to know both Good and Evil. God did not want robot children. He wants alive children who can receive and return Love. Love is His passion. Love is His power. Love is His heart. God is Love. And the nature of Love demands it be given away.
Man first learned Good with God in Eden. Evil was not present since sin has no fellowship with God. Therefore, Adam and Eve, in full fellowship with God, knew nothing of sin. During their perfect fellowship with God, Adam and Eve had their Father’s DNA….no lust…no fallen nature…no temptation. (James 1:14 But every man is tempted when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed). They walked with Him daily in Eden. They had no lust to draw them away…to entice them. They ‘KNEW’ only the Good of God and His heart of pure LOVE and it was to them….LIFE. Eve encounter the evil of Satan in pure innocense….not a clue about sin and death…trusted him completely. Why wouldn’t she trust him??? It was Eden where nothing could harm. …where all was good…the Garden of God. So be assured, in the Garden of God, nothing was there without permission…without invitaiton. As Satan had to get permission from God to afflict Job, he had to get permission to ‘beguile’ Eve.
(Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:). Man died spiritually in Eden at the Tree of Knowledge as God had appointed. “In the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.’ Gen 2:17.
Eve, knowing only Good …..and having no knowledge of evil and death, was defenseless against the ‘most subtle deceiver.’ Adam, though not deceived went into Death with Eve since he was a type of Christ who would give Himself to death to redeem the Bride. ( 1 Timothy 2:14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.) The spiritual death of Adam and Eve fulfilled God’s command ’let us make man ‘in our image, after our likeness.’ After man’s Death in Eden, God said, ‘………Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil:’ …..testifying to the reality that she knew only good and was truly …as she confessed to God, ‘beguiled’ by the deceiver.
But man was always purposed to move outside Eden to ‘be fruitful and multiply’….and to subdue the whole earth. Before God created Adam, He said in Genesis 2:5, that there was not yet ‘a man to till the soil.’ On the fourth day, before man was created on the sixth day, God created the sun and moon to, among other things, be for ‘signs and seasons’ related to the perpetual growth of plants and animals upon the Earth. God had purposed man to till the soil and grow food ‘by the sweat of his brow,’……to reap the increase from God out of the ground. Man would learn his lessons well. He would learn that death is the precursor of Life. As a seed first has to die in the soil to spark the coming forth of life, so must man die in Eden to spark the coming forth of Life in Christ…for those who choose Life.

The Most Subtle Deceiver: ‘Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. 14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. 15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee
