Day is about to break here at my mountain home. I’ve been awake for a few hours now. In the stillness of predawn, I’ve been ‘listening’ to the unseen voice (‘be still and know..’). I’ve listened as He has reminded my heart of the seriousness of the times we are now experiencing…both in America and around the world. We, today, are seeing the aligning of nations, of principalities, and of powers which will bring to a close the time of man in his earthly realm. Many Christians are perplexed, fearful, uncertain, and lost in the confusions of life. Well, fasten your seat belts brethren….because the road is about to get seriously….treacherous!!! But ‘count it all joy.’
The great falling away is upon us. ‘As in the days of Noe’ is upon us. ‘The love of many will wax cold’ is upon us. The sins of Sodom are upon us. The ‘enduring to the end’ is upon us. We are in the midst of RAGING warfare…not against flesh and blood…but ‘against spiritual wickedness in high places.’ And I don’t mean Washington. The war and its players are all created and purposed by the Father. Two KINGDOMS are involved…the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of Satan. Each army has its followers, supporters…participants. But since the war is not about flesh and blood, the weapons are unseen. On God’s side, the weapon is Truth and Life. On Satan’s side, the weapon is Deception and Death. DO NOT BE DECEIVED. EACH OF US … AT THIS VERY MOMENT….IS DEEPLY IMMERSED IN THE WAR!!!! We are daily experiencing the bloody outcomes of the warfare.
The darkness of homosexual lust marches proudly and loudly before all the world as a standard of Satan’s army. Gay marriage will be legalized…but only because God is permitting Satan that power….in the last days of his evil rule. Many who say ‘Lord, Lord’…deny him with fruits of fleshly and selfish roots. I am among the guilty. Division, discord, confusion, and hatred stomps aggressively among us and will not be quieted. Satan’s representatives are in our world, our nation, our state, our city, our town, our church, and our family…..evidenced by the destructive outcomes of the fruits they bear.
Since the beginning of time, Christians have died physically for the sake of RIGHT, GOOD, GOSPEL…GOD. Now…it is our turn. And ‘sittin and singin’ will not suffice. We will die to self and its demands. We will yield ’self’ to the command of the one who purchased it with the price of His soul. Only the righteous march under the standard of God. The battle is escalating. It is moving to its bloody finish when the King of Kings and Lord of Lords will be universally seen ….as the lightning moves from the east to the west across the sky….coming in the clouds to gather the prisoners of war in the spiritual valley of decision (Joel 3:14)….in the valley of Armageddon…WHERE THE RESULTING SLAUGHTER WILL YIELD MAN’S BLOOD UP TO THE HORSES BRIDLE!!!!!
The time for churchianity is past. The time for sitting atop the fence is over. It’s time to ‘choose’ whom we will serve. It’s time to choose to commit righteousness or to commit evil. It’s time to ‘choose’ to serve God or to serve mammon (self/flesh/man).
FOLLOWING IS THE RULES OF CONDUCT FOR THE SOLDIER OF GOD:
Eph. 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore having your loans girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quence all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.’

Thanks, JD. It seems there are many i…both inside and outside the church who are ‘sleeping sleep’ and will be overtaken as a thief in the night overtakes those who do not watch. But the children of the day are aware of the signs of the times. As the ‘times and laws’ change to facilitate evil….the Body of Christ will support, edify, and strengthen one another in the Lord. Greater is He that is within me…than he that is in the world.

I was thinking about the plight of world recently. I realize that some of the things I see brought some fear and I remembered in the bible that it says men’s heart will fail them at the things they see. It is a little scary to see the continual demise of this world. It is a little scary to know that we are caught up in it whether we like it or not.
Harleyq2, thanks for visiting. We are told ‘Fear not.’ But HOW to find that place is not always clear. But it is only found in His perfect Love (Perfect love casteth out fear). It is only found as we ‘sit on the knee’…so to speak…of our Father…knowing we are under HIs loving watchcare and provision. Knowing that He gathers us safely underneath His wings. We are as Paul when he reminded that whether we live or whether we die…we are gathered safely underneath His wings. There is no reason to fear since to be absent in the world is to be present with the Lord. But there is reason to fear when we do not know that place of safely through fellowship with the one who gave His very body and soul to restore us to that place of fellowship. He lives and because He lives……we can live also. Physical death is no biggy and spiritual death cannot claim us…IF we yield ourselves to the regeneration found in the resurrected Christ.
So humble are your words, ‘it’s a little scary.’ They show your awareness of the seriousness of the times. Hebrews the 11th and 12th chapters are AWESOME records of the outcomes for the children of God…within the ‘continual demise of the world.’ It has been that way from the beginning. The three Hebrew children would agree that the fiery furnace is not a place of death…but a place of LIFE. Steven would agree that being stoned to death delivered him to the place of the Father. God promises…and therefore the outcome is sure…that He will NEVER leave us…NEVER forsake us. ‘Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. Scripture reminds that physical death is painless for the redeemed of God. ! Corinthians 15: 56 reminds that the ‘sting’ (pain) of death is sin which results in the eternal damnation of the soul…as judged by the Law of God. That ‘sting’ is too horrible for words. It is eternal desolation, eternal vileness, eternal darkness, eternal destruction of both body and soul…from which there is no escape….EVER. But for the true believer…there is no DEATH. TO BE ABSENT FROM THE BODY IS TO BE PRESENT WITH THE LORD. FEAR NOT.
