Theoretical opinions explaining origins of all things are varied. So how do we know which opinions are correct? Let’s say the earth and its
life forms did evolve from a Big Bang followed by evolution. My question is…what caused the Bang? What caused the cause which caused the Bang. What caused the cause that caused the cause that caused the Bang? Then, what caused the cause that caused the cause that caused the caused that caused the Bang? Hummmm! You see my confusion? What originated and/or preceded the immense terrestrial energy which perpetuated the forces which caused the Bang? And if we cannot – pinpoint – find the specific origin of the seed of the Bang…how can we confirm evolution which came forth from the Bang…as the origin of life? Even the water which held the first amoeba is suspect in the origin of life theory.
Where did water come from? How did it form? What necessity perpetuated its evolution? What fact/reality/force determined that water is necessary for life? What force allowed water to produce life? What component of water meshing with what component of sub-life came together and were productive? ? How did the water know it needed surface tension? What unseen reality perpetuated the cycle of evaporation and condensation ? And what unseen reality perpetuated the unseen reality that perpetuated the cycle of evaporation and condensation which maintained the water pool which perpetuated life??? Hmmmm. And something that really blows my mind is how these complex forces theoretically evolved perfectly….at exactly the right time…one preceding the other all the way back to a point which theory does not name. Yet in the field of science, all scientific theory demands a beginning…a cause….an explanation.
Oh, my! I get really confused when trying to understand how the universe and its various life forms managed to get started collectively at the same time they were evolving independently? Absolutely mind-boggling! Like…how did the first little life critter not visible to the naked eye…know to wait for gravity, for light, for temperature, and for the Seaside Sandwich Shop with the Sustenance Burgers??? Wow! That critter was one smart low-life. Something
else…why didn’t he burn his translucent little self to a crisp on the hot sand of the shore when he first crawled to shore! Man! That was one lucky little critter to have crawled out at EXACTLY the right time! How did he know??? What need…what intelligence…what desire propelled him to the next step in his evolutionary trip??? The answer is Creationism.
If I must believe the origin of all things came about through evolution…happenstance…and a lucky little critter…..I have no problem at all believing in an ordered Beginning and Ending set in place by a super deity whose name is Alpha and Omega..Beginning and Ending…God. My very intelligence demands that I believe the perfect forces of the universe, the perfect species of animals and plants, the perfect air we breathe, the perfect cycles of seasons, and the PERFECT species of man….are all products of a complex system designed by intelligence beyond our comprehension…God..the Creator.
I birthed four babies. I looked into their perfect faces and watched the four breathe the breath of life. I watched our third born leave this existence only twenty-two minutes after he was born. As my son was struggling for breath, there were two young men in the delivery room….standing along a wall to the left of the delivery table. They both wore robes of burlap. No one saw them but me. Their faces and countenances were as broken as my heart. They didn’t have wings but were manifested as two ordinary young men. They left at the moment my baby stopped breathing. The two were there to take my little one back to God ….moved him from death to Life. Some months later as I prayed, “God, why did you let him die.” Father answered, “Carolyn, I didn’t let him die. I let him Live.’ So don’t waste breath trying to convince me that all of creation is anything other than perfectly orchestrated by the one God.
Romans 1: 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:’
