Seems these days we hear a lot of mention of Armageddon. Rev. 16:16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

Armageddon is a term representing the final war between good and evil forces… and is mistakenly understood to be future. Also, Armageddon is mistakenly understood to be war between two opponents. NOT SO! Revelation’s Armageddon is the one-sided onslaught against evil as God inflicts His wrath on wicked Lucifer and his followers and casts them into eternal destruction.
Armageddon is, however, fought on a personal level by each individual. The warfare between things of the flesh and things of the spirit are waged with each individual….to the death or Life. Gluttony (obesity) and sexual perversions are the most prevalent fruits of the lustful flesh. Personal Armageddons are POWERFUL warfare! Ephesions 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Isa 17:47And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give you into our hands
In context of Revelations chapter 16, Armageddon is the final act of God in the destruction of evil. It occurs under the VIALS, which are within the Seventh Trump…which is within the Seventh Seal. Seals one through six are during the dispensation of Grace with the Sixth Seal seeing the closing of the Age. The Seventh Seal contains the beginning of God’s wrath on the wicked, those who have the mark of the beast, those who have rejected God, those whom God has turned over to reprobate minds even before the age of Grace ended. The Seventh Seal contains the Seven Trumps. The Seventh Trumps contain the Seven Vials. Armageddon culminates with the Seventh Vial being poured out into the air and with God saying, ‘ IT IS DONE ’ !!!!
Armageddon is NOT a battle between the forces of God and the forces of Satan! God fought that battle with HIS Super Weapon, A LAMB. Rev. 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. It was fought and won by Christ’s sacrificial death of body and soul to redeem men dwelling in SPIRITUAL DEATH …back to oneness with God and LIFE !! BEHOLD THE WINNER …..The Lamb of God, KING OF KINGS, LORD OF LORDS. He is seen in Revelations 19:11 as the Crowned Conqueror riding atop a white stallion. His vesture (Matt.27:35) is dripping with His own blood, spilled at Calvary ! It also drips with the blood of the wicked who, under wrath at Christ’s SECOND COMING, are TREAD as grapes in a wine press and whose spilled blood will measure from the ground up to the horses’ bridles. His warfare was not and is not waged against ’spiritual wickedness in high places’ only. But is also waged against fleshly followers of ‘high wickedness.’ He does not need a weapon…HE IS THE WEAPON. HE IS THE WORD MADE FLESH which ‘dwelt among us.’ HE (the WORD/TRUTH) is the Light which proves darkness. HE is the Righteousness which proves unrighteousness. HE is the Flaming Sword guarding the entrance of Eden. HE is the FIRE through which all our deeds much pass without being burned up. HE is the HEAD of the Body. HE is the CAPTAIN of our salvation (Heb 2:10). HE is the one who declared ‘IT IS FINISHED’ just before His perished soul, separated from the Father, left its broken body to resurrect three days later…to LIFE ETERNAL. HE is the one who ascended up into the clouds until he was out of sight…and will return to the earth in ‘like manner as you have seen Him go (Matthew 24:30).’ HE is the one who, at His return, will see the wicked crying for the ‘rocks and mountains to ‘Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand (Rev.6:15,16).’ HE is the one who closed ’the door’ against the drowning souls outside the Ark of salvation which housed righteous Noah and family.. HE is the one who ‘shut the door’ against the five unwise virgins. HE is the one who, at His UNIVERSALLY VISIBLE SECOND COMING IN CLOUDS OF GLORY will ’ send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other (Matt 24:31).
IT’S DONE! IT IS FINISHED! All is left for man is to choose or reject ‘so great a salvation.’ To reject the redemptive act of Christ is to CHOOSE self/mammon/evil/DEATH/THE EVIL MASTER-SATAN/wrath/eternal destruction with ‘wailing and gnashing of teeth.’
CHRIST THE CROWNED CONQUERER
Rev 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
