| Ps 31:19 | Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men! |
What is trust? Webster says…”to have confidence or faith in, to believe; to expect; to entrust; to depend on.” Hmmmmm! So do I have confidence or faith in God? Do I believe God? Do I expect of God? Do I entrust my important things to God? Do I depend on God? Havent’t always…..but I’m learning the error of my ways.
I have learned to just ‘believe’……as a child. Childlike belief is TRUST in the LOVE AND FAITHFULLNESS OF GOD. It holds nothing back. It prays ‘THY WILL BE DONE!’ TRUST is FAITH! Requires no religious traditions, doctrines, or practices. TRUST just BELIEVES in God’s Love, Grace, Salvation, and JUSTICE.
Thanks for your response, fernanie2002.
>>>>>>>>>So your being asked to be a dummy. You know why? Cause If you used your head it would be obvious its a delusion they want you to buy into. Just like children believe in Santa.
Fernanie2002, if you wouldn’t mind sharing, I’d be interested in knowing what your ‘childhood’ beliefs were as they related to trust, things unseen, beneficial relationships such as parents/siblings/friends, good/evil…and so forth. If you don’t want to share those thoughts….that’s okay
