Many feel an ominous tugging inside the heart….the sense of an impending and dangerous supernatural storm. A storm so immense that we are compelled to gather the lost ones under the shelter of Grace. But the object of fear for many is the storm-centered final world government of man… Anti-Christ. But, fear not….THE TERRRIBLE ARMORED SOLDIERS HAVE ALL BEEN SLAIN THROUGH THE REDEMPTIVE ACT OF GOD AND HIS CHRIST.
Scripture shows what to expect in order to be storm ready. (1 Thes.5:4 “But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.”). One great example of prophetic clarity, showing ultimate victory for the people of God, is the great and terrible armored image of a soldier/man seen in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream.. In the dream that was revealed by Daniel, God shows Nebuchadnezzar the ruling world governments from Babylon to the return of Christ. Daniel 2:31 says, “Thou, O King, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof was terrible.” The head of gold is Babylon… representing the kingdom and glory given to Nebuchadnezzar by God. The breast and arms of silver is the inferior Greek kingdom who God allowed to conquer Babylon. The belly and thighs of brass is still the lesser kingdom of Medeo-Persia who gained rulership over the whole earth….by the will of God (Dan.5:26) . The legs … with feet part iron and part clay , the Romans, is a strong kingdom who, by the permission of God, would ’break into pieces and subdue all things.’ The feet and toes of part iron and part clay show the kingdom will be partly strong and partly broken. But most important for our time…..are the ten toes.
Daniel 2:43 says, “And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with miry clay. The miry clay at the end of each of the ten toes….represents the government of the very earthy/miry clay…Anti-Christ…666….Satan, Son, and Unholy Spirit. The ten toes are the ten nations or governments whose rulers will yield their power and authority of rule to the Anti-Christ…..because God says He will put in in their hearts to do so. See folks……God rules!!! Nebuchadnezzar learned of God’s ultimate authority when, during his Babylonian rule, he got just a little full of himself. God allowed Nebuchadnezzar to degenerate to base animal behaviors of grazing in fields with animals ’till thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will’ (Daniel 4:24). What God has determined for our current generation….will be accomplished.
Nebuchadnezzar’s dream shows us the armored man who represents world government rulers …all the way to His return. But don’t worry! Be happy! Though the great image was and is powerful…..as shown by its armored representation of military might and ruler-ship……God has determined the end of carnal rule of man on the earth. So don’t grieve about the degeneration of morality seen around us today. It’s all in God’s control. Don’t grieve concerning man’s laws which protect the evil rather than the good. Don’t worry. It’s all in God’s control. Don’t worry when you see the prevalence of evil. It’s all in God’s control. Remember Noah? Remember Lot?
Daniel 2 shows the stone ‘cut out without hands’ which struck the image on the foot and turned generations of worldly kingdoms…….into powder….to be blown away with the wind. Then the stone ‘cut out without hands’ became a great mountain and filled the whole earth. Rev. 11:15 “And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, THE KINGDOMS OF THIS WORLD ARE BECOME THE KINGDOMS OF OUR LORD, AND OF HIS CHRIST; and he shall reign for ever and ever.”

Revelations 19:11-16 describes John’s vision of the victorious Christ. “And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12 His eyes were a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13 And he was clothed in a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called the Word of God. 14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And he had on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.”
The strong and terrible armored image seen by Nebuchadnezzar is already defeated by the King of Kings atop the white horse. It happened when Christ’s perfect blood was shed and His perfect soul died to redeem us from God ‘appointed’ death that happened at the Tree of knowledge in Eden
